Summit Concierge is a snowmobile touring company operating across Colorado’s ski corridor. The project involved building separate websites for six locations (Denver, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain), each with their own domain and database but sharing a unified custom theme.
This was a contract role via Ouzel Software, where I handled the majority of front-end and UI work. The development environment ran on Docker Compose with separate containers per site, which meant building a theme system that could accommodate location-specific content while staying consistent across the entire suite.
I designed and built reusable components (hero banners, tour listing cards, pricing tables, FAQ sections, and contact flows) that could be configured per location without duplicating template code. I also paid careful attention to SEO continuity during the rebuild, preserving URL structure, content hierarchy, and keyword-targeted copy across all six sites.
What I did
- Built a custom ClassicPress theme with reusable templates, shared components, and responsive layouts across six independent domains
- Developed front-end UI for location-based tourism sites covering Denver, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain
- Implemented custom page templates for tour listings, dynamically surfacing child pages as card-based content for scalable content management
- Designed and styled reusable components including hero banners, pricing tables, FAQ sections, CTA banners, and contact flows
- Preserved SEO value during rebuild: content hierarchy, keyword-targeted copy, URL structure, and redirect support
- Worked in a Dockerized multi-site environment with separate containers and databases per site sharing a common theme codebase
- Collaborated in a GitLab version-controlled workflow alongside an infrastructure engineer handling backend and deployment
